I saw them yesterday. ฿800 a tub?
I just bought some emergency quiches & a pack of mince pies for Santa. The Girl thinks he’s getting them all but I plan to sneak over to the tree & have a midnight feast

I reckon it’s KP creeping about like he was trained to do in the special forces.

Have we been taken over by the AI bots? Or really several old posters decided to return, some from the grave!!

Somebody has been playing bump the old posts

Anyway, on the sweet tooth theme, Mrs N bought ฿1000 of mooncakes she’d seen advertised on TikTok at the Thung Si Muang fair.
The chap said they weighed 800g each so not for the faint hearted.
Never to decline a challenge (unless work is involved) I set about a Dubai Chocolate one. It was tough going towards the end but I managed it.
Felt sick all night & most of the next day :|

You can't get the ingredients in Hua Hin or online?

One thing I do miss about UT .... easy to satisfy there. Here....home baking. Dr Burger does an OK job, but that's it.

Not Udon Thani ...... but

Very late brekkie / early lunch ... French toast using French bread of course, with copious amounts of butter, cinnamon and a bit of pancake syrup, and sweet tooth should stay satisfied for a while.

Not a whole lot of bakeries here, PKK, and only one reasonably priced, nice lemon cake, apple pie and brownies offered there, but don't eat much lately, compared to when living in UT. No Beyond Cafe type offerings here. Too fricken hot to cook in hot kitchen, along with buying a serving or two, being so much healthier, instead of finishing off 10-20 servings, while walking by the plate every couple hours, if home cooked.

Do some overpriced smoothies, though made from real fruit, fresh or frozen when out and about in the heat. Blueberry, longan and lychee lately being the favorites.
