I am just posting this on this thread as it is more noticeable than lost deep in the all about udon thread.

By popular request, it has been decided to get the monthly meetups going again, and in remembrance of our sadly departed friend Geordie, for this month, it will be held on Saturday 22nd of September, which is the nearest Saturday to the date of his sad death.

This month, it will be held at the Night Market, suggested time 6.30 pm onwards, looking forward to meeting old and new friends :up:

As said before the first two towers are on me!

only two towers.....what about everybody else :rofl: i will be comming.. but bottled water for me

WOW! The old Night market revisited!

Be good see some old buddies again. Shame old Geordie not with us
Miss that..But now Night market not same as before.
I loved that old tables and old chairs and that poodle :D

Great . Old truetits on channel five , thinks it will never happen again . :lol: :lol: So it would be nice to prove him wrong if nothing else , but thats hardly rare is it !!!!! Unfortunately i have a previous engagement and will be unable to attend , so that should boost your numbers considerably :lol: :lol: :lol: Whoever does attend and i hope the numbers are good , please raise your glasses to our lost friend Geordie . <:> But fear not comrades , i will definately make the one after .

Good idea Hamlay this means you will be keeping the comments off this who want to stop this event happening. Well done as we have seen only to well what they did in the past. There are a good number of existing members who will welcome this come back and maybe some new members too I hope. These are great meet ups and a time to put faces to names. Never once in all my attendances have I met anyone objectional and in fact quite the opposite. Great people to meet and have a nice evening with.
I am fully looking forward to being there despite some bad health problems at present, so I will be hopefully on my feet , in a wheel chair or on a stretcher. This is because I want to meet so many nice members again and I am not a ballon chaser for the free food promised.

So come on guys lend your support and attendance and lets Sh*t in the eyes of those who wish to spoil this wonderful event.
Thanks mods for your support and interest in getting this started again.
