Speaking of sniffing.

Sniffed out a whole new dish of that yummy bread and butter pudding this afternoon it was bang out of the oven together with large mixed fruit pies.

I will track it down in the morning (you will not hide it on me this time Dean) a big slice of that bread and butter pudding is mine with a hot cupper tea tomoz morning.

Sorry Panick I am sure Dean will save you a bit if I don't scoff it all first. :?

No Probs ^___^ I'm munchin' through a pack of tortillas at the mo!
Chicken marinated in "Tex-Mex" spices then stir fried, placed in the tortilla that has been in a hot frying pan turning regulary until it puffs up, garnished with freshly chopped tomatoes, onion, chille peppers, garlic and a thin spread of mayonaise! 8-) (it was all I could find in the fridge!)

Really looking forward to that Pumpkin Pie! Plus the S.L. of Stuffing. :D
Core traditional menu items for Thanksgiving Dinner: Starter, Salad, Soup, Roast Turkey, Stuffing, Mash, Gravy, Candied Sweet Potatoes, Cranberry Sauce, some kind of vegetable, rolls & butter, and Pumpkin Pie.
Then there are the "extras", depending on your family's preferences or ancestry, or your geographical location and the regional favorites... IE: I've had dinner with people of Italian descent that added a few Italian food items to the traditional menu, etc.
Living in Hawaii for so many years, Thanksgiving Dinner wouldn't be Thanksgiving Dinner, without Sushi and Sashimi, or some Filipino, Chinese, Portuguese, or Hawaiian dish.
Bottom line, Thanksgiving Dinner is time to be with family and friends...and get down with some good food.
FYI, Thanksgiving Day has been given special dietary dispensation...food consumed on Thanksgiving contains no calories, cholesterol, or fat. ;)

BTW, the bread and butter pudding is excellent!
