Re: Papa Farangs Bakery, Nong Sam Rong, Udon Thani.
new in the shop today ...EMPANADAS
had to nick a pic from the internet as still got a dodgy camera...before anybody points out, to us brits we call them snack pasties.
empanada translates to piece of pie, made cornish pasty ones, chicken pie ones and salami, ham and cheese.i've baked some ready to eat and i've got unbaked ready to cook..no oven, dont worry they can also be deep fried ***** .yep deep fried, makes the pastry puff.good news is you can put anything in them .so suggestions of what you want in them please, other good news is i'm selling them 10 for 100 baht.every time you open the fridge wondering what to eat ,you can grab a mini pasty and munch on it while you make up your mind...warning i tried this, three pasties later i decided i was not hungry anymore
