you do need to get your camera repaired RBM, i had to dig thru several pages just to find a sketchy
map of the secret base rebel bakery  yes initially, papaf's had some choice shelf space on bottom
and maybe 2nd to bottom refridge section just past veggies on left side as you enter. but villa still
seems to be in process of getting things sorted. having said that its a delight to shop over there as
im usually the only customer in the entire store  in fact the entire tukcom is super friendly and
accomodating as they really seem desperate to win any customers :o

Re: Papa Farangs Bakery, Nong Sam Rong, Udon Thani.
quite strange realy, a few old customers of mine have said the quality and range of food available around town is dropping, seems you can get brekkie at a dozen places around but seems everybody is doing same same, there are places doing brekkie for 95 baht but you get what you pay for, and others doing big boy brekkies with nice views. but all said and done its just the same old same old. heres my idea of a good brekki
2 fried or scrambled eggs
fried potato
1 sausage
1 piece back bacon
grilled tomato
thick sliced toast or a morning roll jam and butter
small mixed fruit salad with a spoon of yogurt on
small orange juice
as many cups of brewed coffee as you like
does seem like lack of imagination going on lately, so many different ways to make an interesting breakfast but no one realy trying? how about a cup of tea and a couple of crumpets or a english muffin or even pancakes , maybe cornflakes or musili for a little lite brekkie. or the carnivor 3 sausage 3 bacon 1 beef patty. sorry guys but i'm not in town otherwise i would help you all out. thinking about it i could come up with 10 ways of making a brekkie. dont have to be huge portions ,just with many flavors and choices, all with the smell of freash baked bread and brewed coffee in the background. please note i have not put baked beans or fried bread in any of the above brekkies, just to show you dont need them to make a delicious meal

What no beans;o) For me, scratch the tomato and fruit/yogurt, two cups coffee is fine and 100 - 130 baht. Scratch the other meats and substitute a nice tenderloin breakfast steak (rare) under 200bt would be a magnet;o)

Rare by definition at least 3cm thick, extra large eggs 2 ok medium or small 3 is nice. Got ideas on dinner steaks also, nice green salad with hard boiled egg or not, blue cheese or Roquefort dressing, cowboy steak (no gravy) baked potato with sour cream and chives and maybe a side of ranch beans (not sweet) and garlic bread.

Any substance to the rumor that Papa Farangs is looking at moving to Soi Sampan?

been looking,so many people have trouble finding us or just a little too far out of town for others, on top of that so many of my customers are in town. bit of a pain realy, love my peace and quiet out here away from all the hussle and bussle. not interested in the bright lights anymore.but endless pressure from customers to get back there.deliveries 3 times a day are also a pain.also starting to outgrow the space were in already...mmm what to do?. problem in town aswell is overheads get silly so forcing my prices up,what people like about me is i have the cheapest products anywhere, which has always been a winner. anyway nothing set in stone yet. need a large property with low overheads and easy access. no rush, just wait for the next sinking ship

trouble is people in town have a strange idea that an empty unit is worth 5,00,000 baht to rent ***** and all the units have been split into tiny units big enough to run a toilet in . people banter about thier bussiness is worth this and tha.,your bussiness is only worth whats in it. what i can make in a business, and what others can is , good will? what exactly does that mean? same as high -low season? wheres the beach? oh yeah were not a tourist townmadmalc wrote:i am one customer that finds it hard to find.a move to town would be nice, just a thought

Stay where you are. Once been (with an aid of a map) easy to find and can park without problems. Also as you say nice and quiet and away from that mess called Soi Sampan
