I only met george in person once , I can only go on personal experience and found him to be a good host at his bar , - had some well fit birds there :inlove:

Never met him (or you for that matter) but always liked his karaoke vids on Yoo Toob. Old Soi Adulyadej must be as quiet as a grave now the Kloggy Croquet has ceased. :!:

( maybe this topic should be moved to 'Bar owners past and present or something ) To be honest I find many farang bar owners in Thailand to be stuck up there own 'selves' if you take my meaning , I've found loads over the years to be anti social and unwelcoming and easy to see why there are so few customers in many bars that are lets face it are nothing more than a rented garage space with a plywood breakfast bar and christmas tree lights and a dartboard for those sell out 'sports nights ' , but I found george to be sociable and hospitable and and a quirky little bar that was good fun the girls were a right laugh too with no strings attached hassle , it also had a cloud of incense and josticks burning as you went to the bogs which I found amusing

Toptastic!Today we want to express our thanks to the numerous published Stammtisch guests for the good humor and the fantastic atmosphere.
Heiner's cake was super great again and the children who benefit from the proceeds of this voluntary donation cake will also be happy.
Even with the Swiss Numerous regulars we would like to thank you very much, as always, was a great experience with you!

I know this one from when i lived in Germany, a Stammtisch is a table where the regulars of that establishment sit and drink, you normally have to be invited onto the table if not one one the regulars, there was an ashtray with a bell over it in the middle of the table, if you knocked the bell while flicking cigarette ash into it you bought the next round.
