Savaloys are great. Perfectly spiced. :) I gotta remember to pick up a pack next time I'm out that way.

happy easter lads,hot cross buns on the cooling rack, girls busy catching up with pie making,me sitting on my ass wondering what to do for sunday .......i know... with all the bla bla bla about BBQ, i think i will do some slow roasted pork with bbq sauce, now don't want to jumping on the bandwagon, but after trying Bubba's bbq sauce it gave me the urge .i thought i would make one of my own, looked at many recipies and thought why not just make my own(dont think Bubba would give me his recipe ). first go, little too sweet for me, second go paprika was a bit potent(hot)now trying another, it has scrumpy cider in it . ok a little simmering to do, but getting there . so , i'm going for the braised pork in cider with onions , after let it cool enough to slice, good thick slices ,then serve with bbq sauce on the side with a few boiled potatoes, minestroni soup and fresh bread for starters, salad bar as useual, and i think apple and blackberry oat crumble with ice cream for dessert.
as the BBQ sauce has plenty of scrumpy in it i need a name for the sauce? any ideas?.
