Oh, I knew the top one wasn't a MacD - the bread is too fluffy and bouncy.

you're the business guy , people would do well to listen to your suggestions . last i heard therealbigmonkey wrote:-

don't limit yourselves to one type of customer ( whale blubber won't work as not many Inuit around)
burger-girls farang beau/financier ( and its not peter) were contemplating opening a bar |-) novel idea

Sizzler do a real tasty burger, 399 baht which includes as much salad bar as you want plus fruit and puddings, good value in my opinion as it tastes good.

it's not business sense, it's common sense. so the girls are thinking about a bar ? as you say novel idea . lets look at it, you sell minced beef/pork stuck between two bits of bread, the same as a few others in your street, now no one has all the sales, it's split between all doing burgers. now instead of thinking about buying a bar for 100,000's of baht, followed by making your overheads zoom up to 25,000 baht a month. how about putting effort in to just having the best burger around, make them not bigger, but better.UDON-P.I. wrote:you're the business guy , people would do well to listen to your suggestions . last i heard therealbigmonkey wrote:-

so you could make a burger and say "here's your burger sir" or you could say "here's your burger, do you want chili sauce, bbq sauce, garlic mayo, hot mustard , ketchup or jalapeno relish , oh dill pickles and a slice of beetroot as well sir , no problem sir" . rocket science it is not.

tandoori naan sold out yesterday, went well with customers. I think today we have to do meatball naan sandwiches. I will have a jerk chicken with grilled green peppers and mayo...mmmm. bistro is open 10am till 6 pm, but we normally keep serving up till 9pm as a few locals seem to get late night urges, funny loki. but just sitting on my drive it's doing very well indeed, and a huge demand for naan breads for takeaway , one guy yesterday half way through his sandwich asked for 10 breads for making his own at homeLoki wrote:yea, you'd think if DN got any traffic, that a burger cart would work, as I don't think many box bars offer grub. Burger and beer while chit chattin and only steps away seems logical.
BUT...........apparently a bit shy of foot traffic and punter at DN.
With SeaSide, Samphan Chippy, and Clock all offering burgers, w/AC or comfy seating, cold beer, and different enviroment........maybe they should switch to SomTam, sticky rice and grilled chicken. The staff at DN got to eat somewhere. I've yet to see a ST / SR / GC cart go bust.........
So........OT..........find a place to park your Flying Naan mobile yet and what's the business hours out at the house / shop....???
Not a fan of Indian, but that tandoori chicken was looking tasty all wrapped up in naan......

just had breakfast, this is the regular size, about the same size as a burger ,but only 40 baht
Jamaican jerk chicken with grilled onions and green peppers, nice with mayo, but I think hickory BBQ sauce might be even better
