GOOD MORNING . just an update. I got around to making the jalapeno BBQ sauce, and also the Hong Kong sweet and sour sauce. in fact i'm just enjoying some fat yellow egg noodles with chicken covered in sweet and sour sauce yummy .

j just had a couple of lads in for a bit of shopping , they decided to have a bit of lite lunch, they were not bothered what it was so I just put a snack together, large sausage roll and chips with a beetroot and tomato side salad, and 3 mini scotch eggs chips and salad. they both seemed shocked when I told them it was 99 baht a plate, tea with pg tips bag only 20 baht . I think I better start putting prices on the forum **

I would not bother Dean, I was told at a very young age, if you have to ask the price you probably cannot afford it. Considering that many will drive some considerable distance to get to you, knowing the price is a tad inconsequential methinks

must have worked KP , I ran out of steaks and no delivery until Friday . well anyway back to cake making today , almond tarts, custard tarts and apple pies, also spotted some ripe bananas so got to give banana cake a go. plus the wife is making fresh sausage rolls :inlove: open 12 noon

Lunch is served 12 noon until 6 pm. soup today is chicken and red lentil , and I made a large sausage and onion pie as well . plus small beer Laos in stock packed in ice @ 70b a bottle
also fresh white and brown loaves

Bored , what to do ? with all the inclement weather I find i'm fully stocked with nothing to do...that makes a change . I do have 1.5kg of new Zealand steak off cuts .. what do you think ? maybe trim and grind to make awesome steak burgers ?

or maybe just a good old fashioned beef and carrot stew ?

grim gray days , seems to keep people at home. woke up this morning ,heard the rain and rolled over and back to sleep . nice for a change . well anyway , I've been naughty ...very naughty. to get away from the big controversial issues at the moment I thought I would give you all something to get your teeth into, something juicy. so sod Brexit...... Trump and the EU....forget wars and immigration. more topical controversies to deal with....what am I going to produce with my new sausage making equipment :bandit: ...will it change the balance of world power... or simply lead to a decent bangers and mash. The first batch of Cumberland fat boys have already been produced and secretly tested. more news to follow.
