This applies to Toronto high school cafeterias too where shepherds pie is made with ground beef.

Exactly, but the Greek cooks at the high school just give me a blank stare.

I make (well, the wife does now) cottage pie with ground pork. Works OK, but a blander taste. Pulled pork might give it a bit more bite.

yes it's ok but not so rich, but pork does work well with lasagna ++)(*
well I was going shopping but the wife says too much traffic today. so I think I will make some oggies ,and some cheese ,onion and potato slices . I need to perfect the snack between meals pastries as I didn't know it was such a growing market ,especially in the just under 60 age group.

Oh yes the just under 60 age group, need to practise having rotund bodies like us older folks do, the earlier in your life you start the more satisfaction you get, when a bit of totty calls out Hello Hansum man.....!!!!

One assumes you are offering your normal Sunday brunch as per usual, tried ringing but to no avail
