Whoop Whoop day off, and I only have to make apple pies, cheese and onion snack pies,tarts and a lasagna hang on ain't a day off meant to me having time to yourself ? something in my planning is not working the way it should :doh: and the wife just reminded me the shop is open for sales too, but she's still insisting it's my day off. never mind I will lie to myself and say the apple crumble tarts are for me

Good food is always worth waiting for, if your customers cannot wait, then education is required. days off are sacrosanct, otherwise you could just overcook your body , like before . only this time ???????????? Take care old friend !!

truth is paul I like cooking , that's what got me in this mess in the first place . But I do have to make some cheese and onion snack pies(great between meals) . I seem to have a few vegetarian customers for soups and things.... bloody hell the wife just told me a guy is coming for some bangers and mash pies tomorrow. well better have a shower and get in the kitchen where I will be relaxing all day

Had the ploughman's today , and a special request lunch for a customer, I think I may make it a Saturday steak special. good as a braised steak too I think ?

yes mate, I used to do steak on Saturday before . someone wanted one for today and I fancied it too. way too busy on a sunday really ,but could be good as a Saturday special

Sounds good,just do not put on cod n chips as a special,seems there is an outbreak of cardboarditis with the local ones
