Yes, well, I am now drinking ice water from an old Iceland bottle that I filled 75% full with tap water and had in the freezer for awhile. Why 75%? I want to avoid any plastic taste when the bottle freezes, and expands.

True, or straight from the tap (fountain, bubbler). I hate cleaning up the mess when they break open, or if I drop the glass bottle.

Our tap water is ok for drinking...but spring water is better, Coke tastes better from a Glass bottle too, as does beer

Tap water contains something that helps the teeth, I don't think bottled or plastic containers have it.
