I saw a hilarious post on an Expat page from a chap who said he wouldn’t use Le Gallery because he dislikes the French. Someone pointed out Kev was from Norfolk & he said didn’t care, could never trust them since the Falklands

He must have also posted never going to Le Country Grill also ,damn French signage everywhere

Now he's going on about 500b beers at le gallery ??? WTF , looking like someone using mates to slag off competition .you'll find that kind of shite backfires. Seems every slagging the guy does Le country grills advertising guru decides to add a like to the FB post , talk about blatent. Don't he know you just click on the like and hey presto it tells you who. Oh well I'm sure keV isn't losing sleep over it .

Still have no idea where these posts are being made ,no 500b beers anywhere not even in Bangers,has he been on the sauce or stood up on Valentines day

FB karlen banks on udon expat info. sad to say that the slagger is being encouraged by Noks boyfriend. Really not a good idea as one of the gallery's patrons could quite easily start on the country grill and their advertising. Really a road people shouldn't go down

Crap like this happens all to often in front line businesses in Thailand and really does not serve any purpose only to alienate those doing the slagging and those assisting when found to be being economical with the truth.. The fact that Kev just spent a load of doe on a great make over and the Gallery seems to have gone up a level and very busy so soon after the re opening maybe smacks of a hint of jealousy in those doing the slagging ..

I have my own fav places to go .. all different and im a big fan of the Gallery , the food the place the relaxed atmos the service and now easy parking make it IMO best in Udon at the moment ..a sweeping statement yes as i dont really go into town to try other Western style locations as plenty out on the Westside nowadays.

Cracking steak n eggs breakfast yesterday at the Monday fry up club... and live England cricket on the telly gave it a bit of a Brit pub feel at the bar lounge end.

Alll the guys attending (and the number is growing) never a bad word on the brekky on offer... tho i must find out about there being a 5oo bt beer .... i doubt that very much.

I like both places but have to say I prefer the new Bangkok slum look sitting behind the corrugated tin fencing at the Country Grill. It really sets off the ambience for me while eating

Its a bit daft even comparing the 2 places as with respect to actual location , AC open air and customer base etc they are chalk n cheese really .. i ate at the Country grill a while back and couldnt fault the food twas dam good ,, huge menu hard to choose as so much stuff i like... only slight gripe it gets a bit warm in the hot season but go early morning no probs.

Social media ..notably FB has created a great base for businesses to advertise free .. however it comes with a down side as is being commented on here .. FB etc wasnt about when we had CC and never really bothered with it seriously at the Tap as my missus did not me it more so to attract the Thai customers.

Not a fan of SM period .. except for UM n US no FB Twitter instagram etc .. im a lard guy not extra virgin olive oil.

I see UM is down at the mo .. cannot open since yesterday eve.

I guess that’s the problem with social media, anyone can post but hey, all advertising is good right? I’m certainly getting an urge to visit Le Gallery sooner rather than later after reading so much about it recently.

UM is fine for me, not been down at all as far as I know. Maybe you’ve been banned
