Yes, like I said I like both places.
I guess that’s the problem with social media, anyone can post but hey, all advertising is good right? I’m certainly getting an urge to visit Le Gallery sooner rather than later after reading so much about it recently.
UM is fine for me, not been down at all as far as I know. Maybe you’ve been banned
Could be banned .. prey tell ive been a good boy recently
.. im timing out trying to get to the UM site ?? just assumed down for maintenance, no worries too many big words on there from Tam n Co i struggle with.
Agree anything that keeps a business on the "front page " poz of neg is publicity .. CC never had a FB page or owt and i tended to just keep the threads alive on local fora with sheer twaddle and daftness..it worked.

If I’m honest, I usually make a beeline for places that get a slating. I’m of the opinion most places can’t be still in business if they’re really as bad as people say so I just want to find out for myself.
Don’t think I’ve ever visited a place as bad as some reviews to make me say it was deserved & I’m not going again. I remember that Rock House used to get a panning everywhere but I used to go just about everyday when we were staying in the Centara. It was a bad review that made me visit the first time.
I actually think we’re spoilt for choice here now, a social media post good or bad high up a page I’m looking at jogs my memory of a place & makes the decision where we’re going to eat that day.
On reflection, I didn’t realise my life had come to this where the biggest decision of the day is where to eat

On a tangent the place that used to get a slating Mug Burger is now called Koala Burger
Tis a strange world out there
Anyhoo back to the Gallery and a mighty gammon steak is available

agree totally Niggly.
BACK ON TOPIC .. bearing in mind im not drinking at the mo and eating twice a day so a good brekky is paramount to set up the day .. i should really try other places but just so easy to nip down to the Gallery from my place and its top tucker . Cant be arsed going into town when the Westside is so well endowed nowadays.
The gammon is one ov my favs.

Hmm, back off topic slightly, all this talk of restaurants this morning has made me particularly hungry for some euro scran as I foregoed my usual breakfast to do the ironing instead.
Sooooooo, shall I eat at
1. Le Gallery
2. Le Country Grill
3. Brickhouse
4. Handlebar
5. Good Days
6. McDonalds (joking)
Time to get out my trusty dice & give it a roll........... (praying not for a 6)
As an aside, think I’ll change this thread title to Le Gallery as a 3 year old buffet menu is irrelevant

Well that buggered it. Rolled a 1 so we went to Le Gallery & it was closed. Mrs N then insisted on choosing a venue so we ended up with bbq chicken by Nong Prajak, again

Pizza and booze promotion wednesdays
Prakapow and their loaded pizzas for takeaway, cuppa of Yorkshire while waiting, even tried the Wexford cream ale takeaway for its discount ,the 440ml can sells normally in there for 225 baht so every little helps and apologies with my presentation, only have a UK 20 oz pint glass at home, would look better in european 50cl glass or US 16oz pint glass
Was busy in there, already seated I presume the Wednesday Pizza Club enjoying the aircon environment
