So if i have caused you any undue stress or upset by my remarks concerning one of deans competitors then i am truly sorry . However a member stated that one of deans competitors pies where the best in udon and i disputed that . Now i realise its all a matter of personal taste , but as far as i know we are still living in a relatively free society , and as such i am within my rights to say so . Obviously it was just a coincidence that one of deans competitors products were being praised at the same time deans products were getting rave reviews on both channels . :?: :?: Morti , you use the word hate . As i think hate is an emotion of the same intensity as love , there is no one on this planet as far as i know that is worthy of such an emotion on my part . So there is no hate campaign towards any person or business in udon or anywhere else come to that , from me .
SE ........... no need to apologise ....best just to nip stuff like this in the bud before it gets out of hand thats all i wanted to do . This thread should remain about Deans new business in which i wish him well as stated ........ the only time i have mentioned Dean since he opened was when i said quote .. " shame as i probably wont see much of him from now on " end quote..

As for a hobby ..... why dont to go to Buddha classes with me ,, good laff and loads of free food .......... dam just thort the orange robe would clash with your syrup haha.

meat and 6 veg, no jam. pork pie just meat and apple pie got apples. anyway had fun making chelsea buns today, good, but i will make them even better tomorrow and will have another bash at the shortbread(remembering to keep the oven at the right temp this time). anyway, starting to feel a bit better now.when i first got out of hospital i could walk 50 yards then out of breath, yesterday i walked home from work.only about a mile but a big improvement. trouble is,after a heart attack anytime you get a little heartburn or small chest pain you start freaking out :( .
and im realy sick of the amount of meds i have to take. this week i need good walking shoes, im a size ten but have wide feet.anybody got an idea of the best place someone with fat plates of meat :)

I have the same problem, size 11 and a broad foot. I eventually got sorted in Sportsworld, Central Plaza. Worst bit is if you see a shoe/trainer you like they might tell you 8 is the biggest they have and they offer you an alternative, like a luminous yellow and black ADIDAS trainer that looks like it was designed by someone on an acid trip. Luckily I eventually got a blue and white NIKE trainer that looks ok.

Pablo, do you know where B.B Resort is? Do you know where Englishman's Retreat is?
Well, Papa Farangs is housed in the same one-story strip of shop houses that housed the original Sangkeow Restaurant. Thirty metres before you get to Englishman's Retreat.

Dean is making the best pasties & pies I've ever had. Excellent breads & rolls. Delicious fruit pies.
Which reminds me... Dean, will you be making those cheesecakes anytime soon? They were great!
Can remember a few years back thinking I would pedal over to the englishmen retreat, of course never found it, seems that I took a right, instead of a left, never tried again. Map from Tesco - 2nd is shorter

well the awnsers to my questions have been sorted.first...the pasty, customers have said "we dont care about peas and sweetcorn, they just taste good" so pastys will stay as they are. but...pork pies are a different matter. my first pies were made using wholewheat pastry, crumbly and crunchy, got the vote of some, but the guys that are dentaly challanged had a problem with "the seedy bits'. so then i tried brown flour for guys with not enough teeth to chew, also come out great. so i decided i will go with both as 3 times in 10 days i have had to make pork pies and i have to go and make another batch today, the other strange thing is some customers are warming the pork pies up,which sound strange but i tried a hot pork pie......friggin hell ,they are good hot too.
it was pointed out to me that i might have had a heart attack becouse the amount of butter i use(10-15 kg a week).no way, its all those salads that caused it
bad news this week. i had a few shandys the other day(beer and sprite) not too many.made me sick as a parrot. so it looks like my drinking days are over :(
and thanks for posting the map with directions
