Yummy...........NY Rye..........lovely toasted w/butter. ++)(*
the NY rye is the best toaster around, I make it in tins rather than free form as customers lwant it to fit in toasters

Dean, do you still sell Indian curries. Bought a couple from the Happy Buddha Bar (now closed) a long while back and they were excellent.

what a fine morning, great day yesterday, lovely lunch with the lads, a few beers, and no hang over today :D . well I have been playing around, and today I am making hybrid beads :o , although german bread is tasty , I have always found it hard going, nice on the side with breakfast , but crap sandwiches. so i'm looking to make a dark whole-wheat bread, had a couple of goes already and very happy with results so far, just making another batch this morning , so for anyone fancying a lite lunch today we have chunky minestrone soup and dark whole-wheat bread very tasty and very filling. as much as you like for 70 baht. also making some blueberry and cream cheese Danish pastries, lemon curd and cream cheese, and fresh cinnamon rolls. all ready for 12 o/clock

To me the bread is what makes Subway interesting, several choices of fresh baked bread, the fillers are available at any grocery, anybody offering a deli sam on fresh baked bread will have aa winner;o)

No argument there.............getting ready to make use of Dean's burger bun recipe......ok, for long rolls. Obviously got cheesesteak on the brain. May have to swing by Central and pick up a rib eye.....some slim pickins lately on beef selection :roll:

May turn into a grill salmon sandwich....... :lol:

sadly no one " goes for it" with the deli thing . much has changed in udon in the last 5 years, just about everything is available now, meats , breads ect. I don't get foot traffic being in the outback of nong sam rong , so no point me trying, but would love to give it a go, sadly anywhere with good traffic pulls huge rents which kick your profit margins into the gutter, plus eating a good sandwich next to a busy street defeats the object of having a nice sandwich and coffee with a nice view, need a nice view of a park with no heavy fumes from worn out diesels chocking you. never mind on with the day, seems we need to make more chicken and mushroom pie's this afternoon too. well i'm still busy enough, which is a good thing . now concentrating on smaller batches but a bit more variations, more fun anyway than making 12 loaves and 60 burger every day, leave that side to the girls to do. all the fun jobs for me :lol:
