no from dry to slightly cooler and dry. just reading about the drought ,seems poor farmers won't be making much rice. odd thing is they say every rice farmer is 350,000 baht in debt ? what I can't figure out is it because they drink too much Heineken while throwing around 100 baht notes at the local karaoke , or maybe growing rice is not a good way of earning a living ?

got two sage and onion sausage rolls left, dam they are good. later today hickory smoked bacon sausage rolls, they should be good. and at 55 baht each for a jumbo or 3 for 150 baht by far the best value in udon. also while available pickled whole beetroot, small ones are the best.
right some good news and bad news, bad news first, Christmas party already fully booked, good news, I will be roasting whole stuffed turkeys for Christmas day for anyone who does not have facilities to do their own

well no takers, after hearing cup "o" tea Ron moaning about pasties not being pasties here I decided to go traditional and have a go at them, teddy oggie is a slang word from Cornwall/ Somerset way, so I went for the recipe from cornwall. turned out spot on, rather lager than a normal pasty and crimped on the side not the top, sorry but not the best photo with the grey day, the tray there on normally holds 12 pies of 12 large sausage rolls or 10 normal pasties so that might give you an idea of how big they are, very pleased with the result and will carry on making batches weekly..

first few oggie's went out the door at 6 pm. so will be waiting for a review, hopefully it will be good, I was only allowed 1/2 of one (diet) ..still looking at them now... eat me they keep saying, better get the rice cooker to put them in the fridge before I do something I will regret . would have been nice with a cider for sure. oh and worked out a price .. a modest 80 baht, not bad for a full meal. and I think there pretty authentic tasting, defo the best pasty I have ever made, thanks BBC and the Cornish pasty association uk
