Yes, agree! I was also lucky enough to get a large slice on Wednesday. Amazing crust. Delicious!

TB.....excellent snap of pork pie, as i had something different in my mind. a yank, so almost understandable, as i was thinking meat pie,such as beef/mush and lots of gravy, served piping hot.
the pork pie is heated in micro before eating or baked, or eaten cold...???
Dean, more pics of products would be great, as i think i only scratched brit food. knew what banger were, though having trouble finding consistent Cumberland sausages, hopefully you'll work that one out
looks tasty... ++)(*

pork pies are normaly eaten cold with salads and other cold meats,but i have had a couple of dodgy looking ones come out and i have eaten them warm from the oven and the english on the forum will hang me for this...hot pork pies are delicious, but i realy would not recomend putting in a micro as the pastry contains more fats and would tend to lose its texture.last time i made some i offerd a english guy some warm pork pie, i think his words were " you need nailing to a cross and a wooden stake put throgh your heart you heathen" ***** . this week i will take some pics and post ok guys

lots of different versions about some a bit wishy washy so i add colemans english mustard to liven it up, a good one i made before had curry powder in ,or mix with mayo and add to pasta with chicken,great side dish with salad. made some pasta salads,pasta with chicken bacon mayo,and one with chorizo and spicy sauce.had one for lunch today,just veg with italian dressing.they should be about 40baht a tub, maybe cheaper if i can.
the aim of papa farangs is to supply some of the little extras that can make you look forward to lunch.i also intend to put up a lunch special for every day.
tomorrow will be .pasta salad(choice of 4 styles),slice of quiche and a freash brewed coffee 100baht, also the good news is tomorrow we start setting up the next papa farangs,right in the center of town 200m from central plaza, lots of work to do but should be done in the next 10-14 days
