Well busy doing nothing today ,which makes a change. not a single pie to make thank god. so idle hands and all that jazz. I think I will make Italian bread with a pinch of herbs today. I feel like making cheese on toast

just reading about chips with breakfast... no that's called all day breakfast or brunch. but people need to stop being boring so here's a couple of forgotten but delicious brekkie extras to attract the morning munchers
How about scalloped potatoes ?

or how about good old stewed tomatoes egg and toast..pennies to make and tasty

or maybe posh it up because there is no need to just dump it on a plate

just persuaded myself , potatoes in the oven , added cheese and red onions, next strewed tomatoes with herbs, Italian toast , fried egg and some yummy herb sausages . got a few guys coming about 11am . have a guess what their having today and they don't even know it yet .
I like my bistro theme , ok you can always order pie and mash, burgers or even steak from the simple menu. but in true bistro fashion ..dish of the day is the way to go.

yes Butch sussed it , I got the best sausage in town because they are in my freezer. anyway the potato bake was very nice , so much so it was the first thing in my head as I woke up.
Saturday so it's steak day, fully reloaded with rib eye and striploins, triple fried chips at the ready. just need to prep onion rings... mmm potato bake 'n' steak sounds good . got to change the pie picture , thai customer yesterday asked for two scoops of vanilla ice cream but no chocolate sauce *****

Good morning udon opened the curtains and surprise surprise ...sunny .Today oven fresh traditional Cornish pasties, except they're not actually from Cornwall and they are made with aussie beef ***** , but made the same way if you get the drift :rofl: .ready lunch time .
also the potato bake disappeared faster the last guy who borrowed money from me ,so another will be made for lunch. the last customer for it was a veggie, and said it would be nice with beans, peas ect. personally it's nice with a striploin steak, meat pie of any description or udons best sausage. also available lunch time . so if you fancy an alternative to a roast dinner give it a try .

Kaption Kally loves Cornish pasties, got any worcester sauce, just got to have the black sauce with pasties, like Thais and chilli on everything, KK will eat dog shit if there's worcester sauce on it, it's just not Gospel to eat a pastie with out the Lea & Perrins
