My order at primani is being prepared as am starving,lamb biryani at Primani is 275 with foodpanda so much cheaper just depends how many mouthfuls can get
My order without a posh milkshake is 850 baht which would feed 2 people so 425 a person with Primani,mentions will get a special gift,hoping for 30 min cd of indian soothing music
maybe just one mint chocolate
When I do visit Bombay it will probably be lamb rogun josh,my favourite, so see how overdone it is

Restaurant came up in conversations yesterday,advised that slim tony from havana went there,spent 1500 baht and mentioned the food was top nosh so mixed reviews so far

id give it a couple of weeks until they get organized ,things don't always go well when you first open .

Looking at some new reviews peter had a similar experience to joepai re being charged for ice,business not doing itself any favours with that

Overall enjoyable,extensive menu options,med/high price range but prices are in the menu except the ice :
No fixed service charge so uptoyou
Will go again ,picts in the lunch n snack thread

I went friday with 3 other people,thought it was bang average to be honest as did the other 3, i had buttered chicken safron rice, garlic naan and poppadom set,never seen poppadoms like that before,maybe i was expecting uk /indian style poppadoms?

Did not order the poppadoms so cannot comment presume primanii and this new place are just not up to scratch,what is above average in udon to try
Am used to bangladesh indian food from back home in blighty so am open to ideas where to try in udon that has indian chefs
Order ruby murrys currys from another biz in thailand,their Fb page or try indian options at C2MU
So far on bombay indian Fb positive posts by farang,where for me to try

Each to their own pomps glad you enjoyed your experience its great when you find a good place ,but will stick with deans,chef andys and my own
hope it takes off and they succeed,2 groups of thais came in as we were leaving,(we went thursday not friday as first posted)

Yes have had many of deans and chef andys,easy to eat at home,did you ever try Primani,bloke from northern india so different styles
Will order the poppadoms next time to see how they differ to Uk ones

No never tried it is it still going?BTW made some great onion bhajis the other week ,so easy ordered the flour off lazada worth doing
