If I’m honest we’ve had 3 meals on the trot at the Country Grill that weren’t up to par so giving them a miss for a while.
I’m not actually surprised, the menu is so extensive there’s got to be quite a lot of pre-making, freezing then reheating in hot oil, microwave or air fryer

I’ve ordered the pork because
A) I don’t trust Thai beef to not be dry
B) not so keen on lamb
C) I’m sick to death of chicken for every meal

Any feedback from the niggly family on the thai food,anything that stood out as am willing to give their thai food a go in there as an option,padkrapao pizza has been my only thai style munch in there so far

Okay, a run down of the nosh.
The Girl had spaghetti carbonara but it was served at a nuclear temperature & by the time it had cooled enough to eat she’d lost interest. Packed for takeaway which The Boy ate in the evening.
A communal portion of chicken wings mostly eaten by The Girl & she said they were nice.
The Boy had what I thought was chicken kiev but turned out to be chicken stuffed with cheese. Cleaned his plate off.
Mrs N went for seafood krapow & I was really surprised when she declared it delicious. She always gets seafood krapow & I’ve not seen her finish a meal of it before saying she didn’t like it (even Steve’s bar where I thought she’d like it)
I had the pork roast with bread & butter pud to follow. It was lush.
A water, orange juice & 3 cokes made the bill a very reasonable ฿1165

Food should be piping hot when presented,menu is extensive so plenty of other options,aircon comfort,pork certainly looks a mouthful,when they first stated,was not the same

Anhoo tues is their day of rest

Tempted for a roast pork this sunday after niggles photo,now which dessert of the day will be on offer
