ASF Asia: Pork prices rise as virus reaches East Timor
African Swine Fever has reached its 11th country in Asia and it’s an unexpected one: East Timor. This has happened at a time when prices for pork in mainland China are observed to be rising steeply and further outbreaks are reported from the Philippines and South Korea.
The outbreaks from East Timor were reported as from September 9, and were found in about 100 locations on backyard farms around the capital Dili. In total 405 animals were killed or had to be culled.

Saturday roast buffet 12 noon. Lots of goodies as well, pork pies just made this morning, black currant cheesecake, carrot cake and cheesecake brownies.

Being the first Saturday of the month, and not a pension week, does it still get busy at the 11:30 rush hour at opening?

Is it not the best place in town, to kick you heels up and relax, another nice roast dinner mash and baked Spuds, and the best pies in Udon, Chicken Curry, went down well and the taste was perfect with the aroma coming through just enough to tingle the taste buds, arrived there after 3 PM, 4 Pax in the place, stayed till 6PM and got the city bus back to udon,
Papa introduced me to his new girlfriend, believe it or not a ginger head, sweet thing and a bit young for my liking, age difference does not worry some girls, as long as Papa is happy and keeps making the pies, and dont get the meat pies confused with the Hair pie. hope she stays out of the kitchen, don't want any unusual hairs showing up in my pie.
