Roast dinner day tomorrow 159b. Been busy so fresh pork pies , pasties and first batch of Christmas mince pies ready...plus loads and loads of cheesecakes made tonight. :eusa-dance:

Pleased to say that the people that attend lunch buffet are healthy eaters but not gluttons, always seems to be enough to go around and no one wastes any food, which is why I continue the buffet, in fact it's normally me telling them 'go on have a bit more'

Curry day today chicken jalfrezi and ? Not sure yet. Seems to be a blueberry shortage at the moment. We have cherry and black currant cheesecake,and trying to get lemon curd done tomorrow .
Other news is we now stock bacon and ham, some company called prime supplying.had the streaky last night , very nice and only 70b for 250g.of the bacon

Difficult with a buffet All you can eat for 99b, I would have to pay them more than the cost of the meal

Think with this chilled weather in Udon,can see Dean starting to make his excellent soups again
How are the mince pies getting along,the walkers miniature ones I bought today are exactly as stated miniature

Almost sold out of mince pies,just made 600 this year then ran out of suet. Got around to putting up the crimbo decs yesterday, it's all go today. Roast dinner pork or chicken,mash,roast potatoes Yorkshire puddings, carrots,peas Brussels and stuffing. A bit late getting the Christmas puds done but got them in the steamer at 4am this morning. Haven't made soup in ages but will be making cream of
for Christmas party this year. Got a big 10lt pressure cooker so soup can be made very quick now, beef and barley was well liked, I will have to look to see if I have enough end cuts from the rib eye and striploin to make a batch. Plenty of cheesecakes in stock,cherry, blueberry and black currant. Buried in work to tell the truth. Got some special sausage rolls comming up, made with 100% bacon..right nice they are..bugger got to make carrot cake too. No rest for the wicked as they say
