Deans' apple puffs are the dogs' bollox!!!!!

Tried one the other day .... Puff pastry topped with a little caramelised sugar and a light drizzle of icing .... Stewed apple inside that was sweet but still a little sour <:>

i seem to remember a bar on soi post office in patters that went by that name

: you have to admit it is catchy :lol: but i'm probably not grasping the full english meaning :o

....and there it is....mind like a steel-trap....even in old age. ooppss! except i got address wrong.

urban dictionary:
In UK slang terms the "dog's bolllocks" means the best. It comes from the habit of male dog's licking their testicles (bolllocks) and that they must taste good as they spend so much time in this activity.

always interested in learning about cultural nuances across the pond, thank you saboo for that layman's explantion :lol:

so in summary: the dog's bolllocks = good but simply just bolllocks = bad okay got it :!:
