Re: Papa Farangs - Hansa Village

Post by realbigmonkey »

Business is turning again , numbers down for people wanting eat out meals, but sales of pies and other goods going up as more wanting to avoid going out. Yesterday they managed to completely empty the fridge and quite a lot of the freezers. We did manage to make another 50 sausage rolls and 50 pasties , and today an endless list of things to make. Can't complain though . the moment we go deep red zone we expect even more sales. Swings and roundabouts. One great thing is Chang have gone crazy, they keep turning up and giving us free beer, bags, key rings. We've had 3 visits from them in a month and so far we've been given 42 free beers. My guess is with so many bars closed they must have a glut of beer ,who knows or should I say who cares, free is what I like to hear.

The Flat Earthers will be drinking Chang. I wonder if in blind tasting, the members could tell the difference between Chang and Leo. Our sense of taste deteriorates with age.

I heard there are a few Covid cases at Hansa Village in the back sois. My step-grandson has stopped playing football with his Ban Hansa friends. Be careful PF.

I live in a back Soi in Hansa, not heard anything about Covid here.

Interesting. I was told two sois numbered in the 20s. I don't think I misunderstood but I will check on Monday. Perhaps it was just an incorrect rumour. My step-grandson has a medical condition that means he needs to be very wary of Covid. May be just responding cautiously to rumours.

im not sure about Hansa , but a report of two children being in hospital locally , the parents tested negative and are now isolated at home. both parents are fully vaccinated. all visitors to PF must be fully vaccinated. I was reading the numbers ,95% of hospitalizations are now the unvaccinated. although vaccinated people can still catch it and spread it the chances of infecting other vaccinated people is very low, but the chances of vaccinated spreading to an unvaccinated is high. people that choose not to get the jab, well up to them . but they are a risk to other people and they have become a risk to business
