Will take the list to Tops and go a hunting.............if going to make yourself, Makro is much better for selection and price. back of the store, next to the fruit/veggie section, toward dairy, you will find all the spices you need, in bulk if planning on doing a lot of cooking. cayenne pepper, as mentioned, whole dried, but take the stems off before grinding, easier than after. they have everything. ginger definitely shouldn't be a problem, as thais use it a lot. fresh or dried.

i actually had a friendly chat with nigel who was kind enough to step outside and explain they would normally be opening at 10am but
he was still training staff and getting the ship up to speed. most genial fellow. for a long-time we've needed a good grill downtown. :party:
