not easy mate 12-14 hours a day 7 days a week, plus work back in blighty,thats why i'm updating the business to try and cut down working time so the wife can spend more time cuddled up with me on the sofa.

in with our take away for CC, which didn't make it out of the car, although the highly guarded Papa Dean's Italian seasoned rolls did make to the house. very nice indeed, one down with just butter, the other for a burger tomorrow, should be a nice compliment to both.
guess available at CC and Papafarangs and very tasty. seasoned just right..... ++)(*

hi lads, do me a favour and can you all give me a list of you favourite cakes from the uk, I been baking quite a few here but it would be nice to get idea of the top 5 cakes and pastries.

What about some fruit cake ? I can vouch for the Ginger cake superb with custard.

Good rich and full of fruit a Fruit cake please, goes wonderfully at Afternoon tea and for a tasty snack at elevenses.

Fruit cake in US popular around Xmass time as gift, not a big fan, so placed mine in a dish with a puddle of rum or brandy and when puddle disappears time to eat the cake;o)
