I got my letter early this year...... enjoy going down to KK, same as you, just for the hell of it, as we did last year for income statement, and always a nice stay at the Pullman w/brekkie pig out.

did notice though, the Pullman about doubled their price, now a 3000 w/brekkie for Jan 22 nd... *****

under 2k is nice value, 3 is pushin it

LOL..............just got that letter......... 1.7 % ........ now I can retire is style. wow, almost no inflation in the USA.... *****

knockin on 1800 a month..... still a pauper, but think I get about a 20 - 25 % raise when it turns into real SS. good thing I got that huge pension from NWA for beer money..... though better that I don't drink much.

even at 21.4 k a year, it's more take home income than probably half of the working folks make a year in the US, and I don't have to leave the house or pay taxes...............that's embarrassing.

with the help of that huge pension...........I barely make the financials for retirement.

It's tough living deposit to deposit. I can only drink wine when it's offered for free.....

checked off another decade today, on this fixed income, guess I'll be poorer and poorer, the next one or 2 decades, if I make it. I suspect that 1.7 % doesn't exactly keep pace with inflation. I better not check into any high-rise hotels, life is just too depressing
