I don't know how many of you out there have experienced this Spanish delight or or even care for that matter. But I was surprised and some what pleased when my wife brought some home last night. I was kind of taken aback at first when my wife offered me a Spanish donut, I had a WTF moment because I've only heard them referred to as churros. Then she showed me and I immediately knew. I didn't think they tasted as good the ones you can pick up almost anywhere in southern California, but it was close enough and a small reminder of back home.
Whoever would thought of having a churro in Udon.

I like 'em. Used to eat them at a Spanish restaurant in Chicago. Served with a cup of thick hot chocolate.

The mobile food cart is located on Phosi rd near the over pass (on Nong Boa lake side of the road). They advertise in English "Spanish Donut". 20bt a serving.

Yes, similar to patongo but more crispy (not soft on the inside) and
never served with sweetened condensed milk.

The Mexican churro are coated with cinnamon-sugar, the one I sampled seemed to be dipped in a sugary syrup. But the taste wasn't too far off.

I forgot to add that the vendor isn't there during the day, they come out in the evening about 1730/1800.
