Thanks for the info/update papaG and LA,twas thinking if the garlic bread was presented like Two Hearts restaurant where a bit OTT on the raw garlic.
Will have to find some freetime to try the place out soon.

ditto about the chips, and we advised them not to consider it, as what are you going to serve for 22 or 28 baht, 2 or 3 large chips. i thought the chips/ ff were quite tasty. tried the fusion yellow curry verson on last visit, rather nice, could use a few more kuung, but 68 baht, who's complaining. Ree went with the red curry seafood, looked even better, bit more meat, kuung / squid, a nice version.

also order the salad, and 1st impression is, it could use a bit more dressing, though as mentioned, after a toss, plenty, enjoy the garlic bread as a compliment to the meal every time, and think it's cooked just right. others venues have too much butter / oil, though one using chopped garlic, but both other venues i've ordered it at don't toast it long enough. garlic powder or chopped, it's garlic, and good either way..... ++)(*

i spoke with them about UT, and showed them their / this thread, and they don't even have internet, so can't see a new sponsor in the wings. i wouldn't bother if them, as wouldn't be able to self promote

I don't know what he's talking about. To me Thai style garlic bread is toasted sandwich bread with butter and garlic rubbed on it. I've had the garlic bread and it's very good. I believe they use baguettes from Makro.

BTW, the chips (fries) they serve are the thin cut,like McDee's, not the thicker cut. I only bring it up because I overheard someone complaining about the fries not being proper chips that accompanied their fried fish (I won't bring up what was said about the type fish used :x ).

Sounds like a quality food sponsor for UT for the future,so only negative is the Thai style toilet,and on the other channel,someone mentioned it is Thai style Garlic bread,maybe not to everyones taste.
What is the difference?

Dinner at Coppies tonight. Wanting to try something different my wife and I went with "Thai fusion". I had the Chili Basil Spaghetti and my wife had the Curry Fried Prawn Spaghetti. The chili basil was spicy hot (which I ask for) and excellent, my wife enjoyed the curry spaghetti which I found to be so so.



Our kids shared a pork steak platter, extra fries and my wife and I split a salad and garlic bread. Plus 3 bottles of water all for under 300bt.

timing is everything 21, you may want to visit to refill the void after morning coffee and dumping 'what did you eat for dinner'.... *****

stopped in yesterday for late lunch, and left quite satisfied with wallet intact. we both ordered the chicken creams sauce fettuccine, a very nice version. i complimented my meal with a salad and garlic bread, as quite hungry, since that bowl of cereal was over 5 hrs ago. the void filled, and total bill, 200 baht.

only one negative, and this for you old handicapped guys..... )(*^^ )(*^^ seating in low cut chairs and tables, with one exception, standard table and chairs at entrance, which thankfully was open, as the others would not of worked well for me. but very relaxed atmosphere. seating shouldn't be a problem for us, since dining off times, very late lunch or early dinner.

will definitely return, the 'master cook' was out doing some re-supplying', so the thai fusion version of the menu wasn't available, this being tom yung / curry / basil version of spagetti, some of my favorites, which i will sample next time. if not complimenting your meal with salad and / or garlic bread, you may want to doulble up on entrees. can't miss for the price. ENJOY.
