Well it's also my birthday and I have tried to book somewhere romantic, both hotel and upmarket restaurant. It was actually one of them that alerted me they couldn't serve alcohol unless I had a private room . :cry:

Not a stretch for me to walk there, but have the option of parking across the tracks and walking over to UT;o)

Which is why I always celebrate early or late ... to avoid all the congestion. Do the same with birthdays and anniversaries if they happen to fall on a weekend.

Prajacktra had nice view and seating. Wine Society has the 'family seating' atmosphere, no different than all the rest of the mall restaurants. I guess no surprise, but is a nice looking place. extreme negative...congestion and NO parking, a friday night or any night. parking really does limit where I'll go, dining or shopping. think a repeat at prajacktra is in the cards, and probably a thursday, so no annoying music in the park.

My choice would be Wine Society, but fat chance of talking the little lady into that. Humm, big bike rally Pattaya, not a biker but any excuse for C and D;o)
