well finally got around to visiting, and agree with other posters, worth a stop if in the area. she did a nice panaeng for me and omolet, Ree went with the laub, enjoyed that, a couple smoothies and escaped with 170 baht check bin.

you may want to experiment soon though, as the owner, not the cook, has different plans, and the place is on borrowed time. 8-)

Roy spot on, going out of town on soi Nong Bua about 300m past the 7/11,and the Market on the left hand side, if anyone's interested in the block of four shop-houses, there's a chicken shop, a hairdresser's, a internet shop, and the last one is Far's, all the signage is written in Thai with Yellow background, but the Menu has both, and right next door is a vacant block of land, beside's the food what I like is they don't charge you for water, I hate when you go into a joint and they charge you 10-20bt for a bottle of water.

there's a curry dish "pad-panaeng-gai" which is a coconut curry if i'm not mistaken, trouble is
these local cook-to-order shops won't be able to make much out of the ordinary but some of
these other menu items are really delectable. AND it's always way cheaper than euro food. *****^^

here's something to try ไข่ยัดไส้ kai-yad-sai it's a "stuffed omelette" usually with ground pork
or chicken, onions, tomatoes other veggies with like a tomatoe sauce? it's considerably tastier than the flat, rather bland kai-jee-oo and made very similar to a ham & cheese omeletter by folding up the sides. the thais really do have some tasty dishes if you have a good chef at your disposal. p.s. i made a few posts
on UM the other day and i still feel cheap and dirty. poster's remorse i think it's called. he-he *****^^ i just wanted to confess that and cleanse my sins but i'm a heathen anyway so perhaps it's not even necessary?
