We had our first Indian restauraunt exerience in Orlando couple weeks ago and it was below average at best.

Was run by an Indian with an Indian chef, so no excuses as to why it was not good. Even had a couple Indian families working there. Highlight was the Cobra beer in bottles!

We used to go to a different curry house in Bradford every Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Couldn’t face one in a Sunday

I used to have the same issue with Parims, or whatever it's called. Always fancied it on a monday and always closed.

Not had an Indian since been in US. Will have to try one, but i'm told it's nor real Indian food, you know the real English Indian food cooked by Bangladeshis and Pakis  :hugs:

Bugger. The only time I’m in town at a reasonable time for curry & I didn’t check their opening times. Closed on Wednesdays 🙄

Did you get a bundle of sauces with the bhajis?
I got 3 pouches of what looked like mayonnaise, tomato sauce & mint sauce. I didn’t open them.

Yes, I read that when i was looking up curries I didn’t know on the menu.
It was actually the onion & peppers that pulled me in. To be honest if the kadai was vegetarian I’d still probably like it.

I like their naan breads. Nothing like what I’m used to from UK curry shops or even frozen from Makro. They’re like a thicker chapati. They don’t scrimp on the garlic either
