i remember seaside 2, good for a snack after shopping at tesco, i even tried to get the shop after it closed down, always good value too. good luck to them if its true, not so good for anybody else in the same business in soi samphan though. seaside used to do a good brekkie for 79b and roast beef dinner for 99b good news for saboo

that place is called "chai-yo" although i think the ex nong's ribs guy was just helping-out getting them started. i tried stopping-by
a few mornings around 10am and they weren't open but i believe their hours must be later in the day. an awful lot of new restaurants
have opened up on that soi. everyone seems to be dabbling with it like a hobby, i'm just not sure if that's a successful strategy to have.
i think you kind of have to dive-in and make a real commitment. and possibly have experience in the field or passion for food service. :lol:

There are good breakfasts available in Soi Sampan (keeping on topic )... Irish Clock springs to mind, with this 'Small English' breakfast at 120 Baht including toast (home-made bread), and coffee or tea:


I've not yet found a proper 'Full English' breakfast here in Udon, but if you source around you can buy all the ingredients locally to cook one at home... it should look like this:


Only thing missing is a few good dollops of HP sauce

You can get this and more from The Bookhouse . I get the 165 baht British Breakfast which does not have the potatoes, but you get a huge extra piece of toast, coffee or tea and orange juice. It is absolutely the best breakfast I have ever had in my life...and I've eaten a lot of breakfasts in 19 different countries.

i agree Ham, many beers are not suited to very hot temp, well thats what i find, Guinness is another example.
