Not had fish and chips for a while. Really enjoy it when done right. Actually, the best F&C I've eaten here in Udon (a while back) was at the Kinneree. Served with green peas the fish was crisp and tasty and the chips were nicely done. Don't know if they still have the same cook/chef. Probably need to go back there and give it another try.

We just had a fab fish supper from Smiths in epping, bog standard not poncey chippy that does it well ++)(* Large flakey cod with dry crisp batter or Motza if you fancy and excellent chips.

Trevor used to do good cod and chips at the clock, not sure if new guy does as he seems very unsociable so don't go there anymore, 5th floor in the emporium bangkok good fish and chip restaurant always visit when down there, also as thailand goes Mr chris's in Loei does quite acceptable fish and chips, it is doree but is cooked just right.

I've seen that place, but I always end up at 'Sunrise Taco', same at T21, a 'fish and chippy' there...... 8-)

realy would love a nice piece of cod, only time i've tried cod here it tasted like it had been frozen since the last ice age. face it the only way to get good fish is to fly back to blighty. someone said red snapper is good so i might give that a go

That's a hell of a good buy on the Nanotech. Any idea if it is available in Udon? I've been looking for something like that at a reasonable price.

Great for making fish & chips!

Yes, I saw that. Same price for the ZL-1 model (฿2,090). Could order but would really like to see one in person before doing so. The wife can't understand why I want to spend money on a deepfryer, but what the heck does she know? She'd rather spend ฿2,000 on a new krapao thue.
