Concur, excellent cheesecake (140), the Duck was quite good also (190), though sides could have offered a bit more substance, actually sitting on top of mashed taters. Ree went with a tasty Yellow Curry Soft Shell Crab (150). rice and water, check bin ฿520

Another outstanding lunch today: penne arribata, roasted duck mango salad, grilled pork chop w/chips, and deep fried battered mushrooms.
Plus two slices of blueberry cheesecake w/passion fruit sauce, and raspberry sauce, swirled around the sides. Passion fruit sauce added a perfect balance of tartness
All very nicely presented. My hats off to the chef.

And, no it wasn't all for me...was dining with a friend...

I'll admit it has been awhile since I dined here. However, I was surprised today, to say the least, when I stopped by, and found the place...closed.
Anybody know what happened, or if they have moved to another location?

Noticed that the other day. Personally I think, just the wrong location. We popped in a couple times, very late lunch, very early dinner. But normal dining hours, forget about parking, and those willing to spend a bit more for nice meal, won't be arriving on a scooter. Besides the every evening gridlock from 5 PM onward.

Chef's Table is already closed since end of august 2015.
according to his facebook page he will rise again somewhere else.
up to today, he has not announced where the new place is or will be.....
i got the impression that he is focussing now on private catering instead of running a restaurant of his own.

Think he was negotiating for a place across from Udon Town in front of Lumpini, hope he is successful, as would be a nice upgrade, and encourage folks to enjoy his exultant presentations more frequently;o)

Those new shops or whatever they are going to be across from UD Town, and I think part of LP, would be an excellent choice. Parking, and obviously the people living at LP, have a few extra, and hopefully didn't use it all up buying there little box....
