I've got pretty low standards so think the food court in Central isn't too bad. Food is fuel so if not too fussed about the ambience & definitely get a table away from the racket of the game zone it provides suitable sustenance

Happened to be there this afternoon and picked up a few pastries while Mrs. Shado was scoping out the veggies at the Royal Project Shop. Some pretty tasty items for the evening snack.just get some snacks from Yamazaki

Apparently, they make a damn fine whisky (whiskey) as well.
"That’s according to Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2015, a highly regarded ranking of fine global whisky. Specifically, reports the Telegraph, the top title belongs to Yamazaki Single Malt Sherry Cask 2013, from Japan’s oldest whiskey distillery, Suntory, founded in 1923."

Actually, I could never remember the name of the place and always called it the "bakery next to Tops". Then one day it occurred to me, "Yahama, Suzuki and Kawasaki". That's exactly how I figured out how to remember their name.

Along with Phraya Rum, but only as export, and quite expensive. I've tried and can't get it here, failing miserably. Have to look next time in Laos. The drink won gold medals in liquor competitions in Madrid, Spain in 1982 and 1983, in Düsseldorf, Germany in 1983, and again in Barcelona in 2006. The medals are featured prominently on the product's packaging and have led to it being referred to locally as "SangSom Rianthong" (SangSom Gold Medallion).
