Seems this coming friday was a holiday but is cancelled...however my daughters school is still going to have the holiday. She only started last week and already having holidays

I finished my walk around Nong Prajak around 12.30 and on the way back to the flat I remembered we needed a few bits so I detoured to Tesco.
Stupid, stupid, stupid me had forgotten it was Labour Day despite my wife telling me before she went to work.
People off work, a bright sunny 37c outside and Tesco has air conditioning.
The place was mobbed and the village people were out in force. 4 generations of nut brown dwarves with feet like hobbits ambling along the aisle 3 abreast with nothing in the trolley but a snot nosed kid. The only fun to be had was to quietly come up behind a bunch and touch one of them on the shoulder. They jump like you have just jabbed them with a cattle prod. Great fun.
The only other fun to be had was to present my UK Club card to the cashier.

Perhaps someone could tell me what this game is about? There is a big container full of an assortment of 100 baht plastic sandals of all shapes, sizes and colours. The players completely surround it sometimes 2 deep and start by all of the players picking a pair up, turn them over then put them back as fast as they can so the other players can't get to them. No idea of the scoring system but I didn't see the vendor sell a single pair of sandals in the 15 - 20 minutes I was watching.
Yes I know....simple thing please simple minds whilst bigger fools look on.
