all the thais seem to be in holiday mode this week already :? i'm guessing many have long weekends or maybe even the entire week off.

seems to be an all night party going on in the downtown (for thais that is) with wednesday 10th and friday 12th already national days-off
workin' on mysteries without any clues , talkin' ' bout the nite goose

May the 12th is NOT a national holiday.

right you are , my mistake :?: it is the official royal ploughing ceremony date ( i guess the start of the rice growing season) and they have some festival in the capitol

No drinking allowed today. Hope all you alcoholics comply.....Had dinner last night with some of the cousin in laws and the Norwegian BF of one of them turned up. He brings his own juice bottle filled with his home filtered lao kaow. The guy is a raging alchy, drinks the stuff for breakfast.....it is a disease

say no more :shock: there's half-a-dozen of them that meet in the hotel lobby to drink all day (scandis) and if i had 100k /month pension maybe i would be blowing 20k /month on alcohol also who

am i to judge . :lol: all on their 2nd or 3rd wife ,2nd or 3rd house , 2nd or 3rd truck . and couldn't care less :clap: as long as the booze is flowing. :party: and we wonder why there are farang stereotypes *****^^

In case anyone didn't notice, its a holiday week end, so not alcohol after midnight tonight for 48 hours.........plan accordingly :beer: :beer: :beer:

All government offices, including Immigration, are closed on Thursday 9th May 2019 for the Royal Ploughing Ceremony and on Monday 20th May 2019 for Visakha Bucha Day. Incidentally, there is a ban on the sale of alcohol on Saturday 18th May 2019 for the religious holiday #Thailand
