Have you noticed the farang walking down the soi as tho he believes he is the best thing since sliced bread??
Normally they are ugly pathetic dorks with an unwillingness to accept they are no longer(unlikely ever) God's gift to humanity let alone a bar girl who could not care less as long as he can pay the bar fine. If you happen by accident to have to listen to any of his dialogue the biggest load of crap comes out spruking how he was this or that back in his homeland which generally means he is a freaking loser.Guys as the poster comments on will come down to earth sooner than later especially if they piss off the thais. They may win the initial stare down but they will lose the battle as Asians have longer memories than us farangs and just when they think it is safe to go back in the water dum dum dum.

So does that make me scum and anyone else who has ever been there?

Well thats what it sounds like to me!

Maybe i am reading it wrong but time and time again anyone who has ever been associated with patts is imediatly seen as a troble maker!

Why is that?

because you are the exception to the rule!!! maybe???

because the larger louts who put on a show for us all normally have headed up from pattaya... and i agree they are F-----g scum... Those of us that live here think that this kind of behavoir is shamefull, im sure... now beda wrote what he wrote and your tugging him off... isnt that pattaya style behavoir??? he clearly didnt mean regular people!!!! he meant the ********* who come up here and spoil it for us who live here, so watchman, stop being sooooo touchy!!!! your in udon now!!!!

i would suggest you are right yes you are reading it wrong and you clearly have no idea about udon thani!!

the cattle shed attracts the wrong type, it attracts trouble, i think a lot of us who live here would not go in there for fear of some wanker getting all shirty and hard... i would rather enjoy myself here without fear of the pattaya mob!!!

and i would suggest this is the same trck beda is on! and i would also suggest you know this already!!!

Prejudice based on the past behavior of Pips from Patts who show up in Udon to convert the city into a tourist haven. I'm as guilty as the next guy in being suspicious, but sure as shootin', if you sit there long enough and observe, just about every dog gone one of them rarely disappoints.

Let's face it. All of us are here in Thailand for a reason. For some of us, it's just a matter of getting more bang for our retirement buck. For others, it's to escape some obligation or other legal matter. For others, it's just the completely innocent love and enjoyment of Thailand better than the homeland. However, most of us are here in Udon Thani because we DON'T want to be in Pattaya, and we sure as heck don't want Udon to resemble much of it either.

Maybe you chaps need UM's Farang Highway Patrolman to amble about the bars and bazaars - just to keep tabs on the naughty boys from Patters.

Had a wander up and down soi falang earlier in the week. Some of the bars really don't do themselves any favours to entice customers. Seems to be several 'chopper' motorbikes cruising the street revving their engines then turning round and coming back for more.
8-) UDON TALK LIVES ON 8-)
