who can explain the "corner station"?
this (i think) is the name of the place across from the train depot? i saw some guy watching
a large screen game and...drinking (shock, horror) but somebody said they served tacos or
food like it was also a restaurant but for the life of me, i didn't see any kitchen around? just
one of those places you can walk right by it and not notice it unless you know it's there? *****^^

It's across from the round about at the train station and directly opposite tent city. The shop on the very corner is D-Corner (run by a western Euro), next door to D-Corner is Burger Station (not corner station), it's run by a Thai who did time in ozzie land. Serves burgers, tacos and meat pies. I've only had the burgers and tacos, tasty and at a good value. The only problem for me is that it doesn't open until 1400.

Yeah not bad, the filling (meat?) reminds me of Taco Bell tacos. Burgers are good and come with a side of FF's.UdornLA wrote:yes, hours are a bit inconsistent, but decent tacos when needing a fix....... ++)(*
But looks like I'll be going back to 652 for my burger fix, the cook is back...again.

Bar next door is run by Sam and Naa, Sam is Thai brought up in the USA, like's to play golf.
Nice bar, food is good not expensive, free ice with beers.

Ice in beer? AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH! That's almost as bad as the tourists in the Guinness visitor's Centre adding Coca Cola to the Guinness. :lol:free ice with beers.
