Seems there are people in the know regarding updates re the biz but no updates on the thread ,so may I post some info that anyone can confirm or deny,biz sold for 100k to Squires and Co who then sold the biz for 250k to another interested party,naturally all the draft systems been taken out in the last few days by DM as not part of the sales biz and the biz should end up being Thai related foodwise.

I passed a rather nice new build estate near the race course the other day & the placards said it was a Squires development.

Apparently sold again , so 3 owners in a few days. Don't know the amounts though ,I think an Aussie has it now

None of the original drinking chaps wanted it and the pumps/draft equipment would stay if they sell Jon's products,leo and chang draft then they can get their own draft equipment

Maybe each buyer/seller has been passing the buck over the unpaid rent

Anyhoo at least Jon enjoyed the free wifi from the biz and just have to wait now whoever the new owner is to reconnect when up n running with the new password

oddest sale , seems as soon as sold someone else came along and offered a price the new owners couldn't say no to, then the next owner got offered even more so sold it on again. never seen that happen before. i think jon is negotiating so not known if they will keep the taps or not yet. i guess we'll find out soon.

Indeed .. its not for me to comment on price numbers etc but none of the numbers being banded about are accurate , and all rent arrears etc have been cleared ... for sure its been a strange set of events triggered by firstly covid then Paul sadly passing away ..Emm sold to Roong Squires who had a couple of viewings with potential buyers then it was flipped to a pretty young Thai lass. I sat n had a few beers with them last night (quality control procedures) and they arent sure what they are gonna do with the place so im removing draft taps during this week as i have another location to install them...

It could remain as a venue or be stripped .. and returned to the landlord time will tell.

The marveloso splendido junction outside will be finished before the end of this month with two 6m entrances/exits off a frontage road plus nice paved paths ideal for dog walking ,i have requested poop bins to be in case i get caught short whilst out with mi dogs.
