Bar 305/Fortune Bistro

The Smiling Frog has been gutted out & reopened as Bar 305.

It’s been open a week & seems to be getting favourable reviews on Farcebook so thought is deserved it’s own thread.

I think it’s worthy of a visit in the not too distant future. The only problem is the proximity to Mrs N’s favourite salon where she used to go costing me a fortune when I went to the Smiling Frog.

I understand the chap is called Bob from the UK & his wife is Nun. Good luck in these trying time

Everyone seems to be getting fish & chips too so even though it’s apparently good, not really a menu review.

Pomps will have to go. That way we’ll get to hear about 5 or 6 different dishes

Will have to be open early,none of this opening 11am nonsense even though FB says 9am,difficult to get me away from good corner but will see

Salmon looks decent enough and presentation so far so good ,looks like spent ages putting the 11 chips on the plate

That would be the street number, walked past yesterday lunch time, on opposite side road, 12 midday, all doors closed, so either the A/C was on or closed, looking for big OPEN sign, kept walking and brought Raisin Bread from Good Corner, theres a good selection of bread from good corner and snacks, pre order only, take the camera next time and get a pic of the breads menu, the clock had doors wide open, no A/C on after a cuppa walked pass the 305 was opened, doors still closed, A/C on to eat in style, , then ran the gaunlet pass the massage shops, had a peek in at good days, more fresh raisin bread out of the oven, brought a loaf there, last on the days outing was the Liver Bar, workman busy renovating, a new servery bar at the front, tiling painting, lights camera action, truck load of beds at UD Town Hotel, scaffolding all down, might go for a cuppacino at 305, and try out the prices, Good days has a lot of hot women coming and going, all the gay gals call in,
33 deg at 11am, its going to be a hot day and walk to 305, Ahhhhhhhhh I miss the city bus, guess I'll take the Maccas bridge, cool of in the ac at MCD, a splash of water in the wash sink, make it to tesco, a slowwwwwww walk through the ac, then a stop at KFC for a splash of water in the wash sink cool off and the down hill run to 305 at 250 metres, pace it right almost get there with out the sweaty ass crack
