Another sterling lunch with all of the trimmings. Lucky to have a local spot with such consistent quality!

Indeed chef Andy was on good form,his favourite these days doing dauphinoise potatoes 8-)

Leaving today and a couple of the flat earth society turned up :D 8-)

Tagliatelle is a great multi-use pasta. I use it in several recipes, especially ones calling for egg noodles. That plate looks great! Bordering on healthy as well. Very nice combination.

Ended up with fish n chips today [tilapia],throw in some pickled onions and a complete meal 8-)

Fish and chips (done right) is a great meal. That plate looks darn good. I had fried cod two days ago with parsley potatoes and homemade tartar sauce. Need to be eating more fish. Mrs. S has promised to make khao soi for dinner tomorrow. It is a bit of a pain for her to put together but she knows how much I enjoy it.

Not lunch related but, fish related...

We went to Ton Tann Market to eat last night expecting to have our usual fish fix. For some reason, whilst other food stalls were open the fish ones were all closed. I cant think of a Covid related reason to explain this. Maybe it's just coincidence.

On a separate note, on the ride over, it was heartbreaking to see many of our favourite eating places shuttered up.
