Yes freshly caught here,much better than the chinese farmed tilapia or even chinese farmed cod you can buy at Makro,but if you want to glow in the dark then Chinese it is :o :D

I’m really liking this Tom Ka Gai from Central. It’s only 60 baht.
The chap on the stall making it is a laugh too. We always have a nice conversation with him trying to teach me Thai names for his menu while I wait

Never see anyone eating anymore at the Tops eating area,used to get rave reviews from expats,maybe the foodcourt is the king of central 8-)

Food court has been really quiet the last few times I've been. There's even some of the islands closed down with For Rent signs on them.
Saw a few eating in Tops but there was seating if wanted.
I notice the coffee shop right in the middle always seems busy with expats. Standing room only earlier

Chris really does put out a substantial and tasty Sunday roast. I think the missus is making khanom jeen nam njiao (ขนมจีนน้ำเงี้ยว) for dinner this evening. Not one of my favorites. I made some pimento and might have to snack on that.

Lunch brought forward,needed comfort food early with cauliflower cheese and buttered parslley potatoes,just the job 8-)
