Can you get Parsnips in Thailand? I'm loving roast parsnips at the moment along with roasted garlic

As would be expected, pomps is the parsnips expert. He always has a handle on the quality and availability of those delightful veggies. He'll be along later to update I'm sure.

When tata was customer services at Vm she would source products from other stores around Thailand
Iceland brand honey roasted parsnips was one option she helped with.VM used to import parsnips but as per norm if some products do not sell due to their price then not stocked anymore doubt much parsnip munching expats and thais here in Udon
A shame as would regularly buy, they have many Iceland products in store but not the parsnip option
Will look in their main store in bangkok in june and will eat a whole packet in my hotel room to celebrate

That reminds me of a time back in the day when me & my mate had a night on the ale followed by a Chinese takeaway on the way home.realbigmonkey wrote: ↑Mon May 16, 2022 7:14 am jesus i must have been drunk yesterday, just woke up to find instead of a roast dinner for some strange reason i was eating crispy fried chicken, garlic bread and mashed potato. gutted . on the bright side i will have a decent breakfast at the gallery this morning
The next day my mate called at lunchtimeish to see if I was going for a livener & he mentioned his Chinese had given terrible indigestion in the night. I said I felt fine & would meet him in the pub.
Went to go out the front door & the Chinese was sat on the doorstep where I must have put it while fumbling for the door key

The wife did a nice piece of beef with roasted carrots, potatoes, garlic and parsnips.
Was lovely and she cooked enough for dinner and lunch the next day.
Sorry, no pictures!

You probably won't require another "Indian" fix for several days now. Your pix are sure putting me into an Indian mood.
