Getting hungry for tacos myself. Some Kraft four-cheese Mexican blend would set that plate off nicely.

I'm partial to some frijoles spread in the shell as well. Guacamole is a good trade-off for frijoles.

Typically, whenever I do up a batch of tacos I'll have enough fixin's left to make quesadillas the next day. Quesadillas are always good with a plate of nachos and pico de gallo or salsa.

Finally got to Sizzler after so long of threatening to try.
As suspected, the waiter pointed out the most expensive steak to Mrs N at 899 baht as soon as we entered. She was never going to eat it so I objected when she ordered it so she then opted for the fish, chicken & chips combo instead at 419 baht. Unsurprisingly only managed half the fish, a bite of chicken & no chips complaining she’d eaten too much at the salad bar which after one visit & a part filled plate was a fairly poor excuse.
I went for fish & chips at 399 baht which was very poor. If it hadn’t been for multiple visits to the salad bar & at least 12 chocolate mousses for dessert I’d have been very disgruntled. The fish & chips at both Country Grill & Bar305 are by far superior & less than a third of the price.
The Girl had some sort of kids meal at 199 baht & didn’t eat a thing. We asked if we could have it packed for a takeaway to which we were told it’s 20 baht. No problem but the charge never appeared so never mind.
I also had the red apple carafe to drink & the way it’s pictured on the menu against things giving it an apparent scale is a bit naughty. It was 99 baht & minuscule. Comparing to the bottle of water we got I’m guessing it was only about 100ml of drink.

All the kids play areas seem to be open now so I’m squatting on a little stool typing this while The Girl runs herself ragged 👍

That really looks good! I've never eaten cod and crab cakes. Did you make them yourself? I'll have to check out a recipe. Would probably go nicely with a dollop or two of fresh tartar sauce.
