So presumably you are happier now, orders for more bel and speck from country bar, seems there are drinkers down Sampan after all, plus of course bel stout at 210 baht or pay 245 baht for Guinn down Bricky, every baht helps down there :o 8-)

My watering hols has ordered another speck barrel, got hit hard by customers today,a thirsty bunch they were 8-)
Indeed Mr Chris called me as i was en route to Bkk n placed an order .. as you say seems the draft options at the Country bar are being well received.

Marks & Spencers selection for lunch today. Pork Pies, sausage rolls, mini sausages, parma ham, salami, cheese and French baguette.

Lovely Jubbly. Food in M&S is great 8-)

PS; this is M&S York, in case anyone was wondering.

Sounds marvelous .. York is a lovely place i had a business in the city center in years gone by just off the Shambles... i recall there being an abundance of cafe , eateries doing everything , good chippy in the corner of the market place back then as well.

i enjoyed wholewheat toast with Gouda cream cheese and smoked salmon on top .. plus a couple of Wharburtons crumpets with Lurpak butter for good measure.. courtesy of C2MU Udon.

Just back from a walk on the north Yorkshire moors. Considering the heat wave, it was about 12 deg c on the moors, cloudy, drizzle but no wind.
Heaven compared to Qatar!

Oh this is the lunch thread...lunch was sandwiches and pasties from Greggs that my brother bought on the way. Eaten from the boot of the car as too wet to sit on the ground.
