I breezed through Suvarnabhumi today and, had intended to go to the Smile lounge before getting my connection North.

Unfortunately there was only 1 (yes 1!!!) desk open at Smile check in for the usual 15 or so mid morning flights.

No idea why but it seems to be an attempt to get everyone to use the machines to check in. Problem was no-one highlighted this to me and most of the other 100 or so people waiting. After 30 mins waiting in a queue that wasn't moving, the Thai chap in front of me suggested I give it a go as my flight was imminent (he seemed happy to wait).

The time lost meant I only had time to go to the basic Miracle lounge. There was deffo beer in the fridge there.

Had some awesome food in Barcelona. If you like ham, beef, seafood and sparking wine, Cava, the place is awesome.
