Piccolo roma used to but used Thai turkeys, normally booked up with Thai customers and also tends to do something xmas eve like all the european farang businesses in town
Irish clock always does xmas as well, did well last year as served all day,no bookings needed,FB page is lacking posts but they reuse the same xmas poster so should see it there.
So best bet wait for this thankgiving meal to pass then should get some updates on menus, deposit amounts if requested,,booking times etc

Must have been a hefty Sunday lunch for Pomps. Well over 24 hours later and still not posted

Come in Pomps!
Normally only one visit there over weekends, the Indian offering was too good to be missed,
might try more of the specials offered and sacrifice the roasts, think have posted all his offerings, will miss the cauliflower cheese though
Just had to have lager with the Indian and in his 2 pint glass that he has
Anyhoo all looking good for xmas since being a Sunday this year, turkeys on order with C2MU at Chris place,oz nips on order, same as pigs in blankets,Chef Andy just needs to plan on getting there very early to get everything in motion, might be even Kilkenny draft as an option on the day otherwise it will be OSH
Hams,The Gallery, pre covid, used to do Xmas as a 3 course option with either a glass of wine or a beer at 999 baht, still too early to see any mentions by the farang establishments,Chris normally does main course and xmas pud plus a tin of quality street on the bar for non eaters

Some of his regulars due back soon so will expect his serving of 20/25 to be sold/reserved
Shame no T bar option this xmas for expats but at least you should have an option from the gallery, country grill or Bricky
You will be missed on Sundays pomps .. but more cauliflower cheese for others
Chris Friday specials are always dam good ..never had a bad meal and usually a few rock up.. Andy is a cracking chef.

Over the last week ive been down Soi Samphan a few times and must say lots of falangs mooching about , from the early risers slurping an Archa on Viking corner at 8am to the old timers deciding where to have brekkie .. later in the afternoon plenty of knotted hanky foot traffic and more so lots of totty varying ages n sizes very pleasing on the eye .. i popped in Pegasus bar to sample the draft we just fitted , had abite to eat as well ..cracking menu n what i had was excellent ..turns out Jims missus was the chef at BH opposite .. never knew that... Irish Clock full English defo up there as best in Udon and then you got Nuchy music bar .. what was the old Harrys Handlebar .. the owner there has a huge personality and even bigger jugs , suffice to say i had a quick one in there !!!!
Definately more life down soi sleeze again now.. i very enjoy.

Grimsby had a hooligan element!?
I remember going to Blundell Park a few times in the 80s and, remember all the pubs in Cleethorpes were heaving with Leeds fans and not a local in sight. First game after we were relegated in 1982 was there and, the main thing I remember, apart from what a comedown it was, was the smell of fish and a few p**** up games of crazy golf.

Been working my way round the Lounges at Suvarnabhumi the last few times courtesy of a freebie I have with my bank which gives me access.
The Air France/KLM one wins hands down and had a repeat visit today. Giant pigs in blankets, Pad Thai, Mini Burgers, Sushi, Pizza, etc. The patisserie section is outstanding. No pics of that cos I scoffed the lot too quickly. The wines not bad too.
Got a bad case of indigestion waiting for the flight .

I enjoyed my time in that lounge as I could see my gate from it so always time for another drink until they started boarding.
I like to be one the last to board.
Speak politely.
Think however you like.
